Last night was the picnic and we had a blast! I can't take any credit for the boat because I got in late from a meeting with a client and didn't have time to put my boat together. Oh well...there's always next year. When I got home Matt was hard at work with his boat...I was very impressed by what he came up with. His was the first to cross the finish line, but due to the rapids, his candle went out, so it didn't count. The theme was 'Luau' and there was tons of good Hawaiin style food. Yum yum! We took care of the boat race after dinner, then had dessert, mingled with one another, and later Charlie and Wes entertained us with music. I was impressed...they did a great job. While they were playing the music, I went out and caught fireflies with the kids. They are SO cute...each one of them. And, they're all so well behaved too. We had a blast!
